View Date:2025-01-11 07:32:36
Good morning! It's Daniel de Visé with your Daily Money.
If you're the sort who drives to Costco for the sole purpose of dining in the value-priced food court, take heed.

Does this mean no more $1.50 hot dog-and-drink combos?
Fast food workers losing jobs in California
In other retailing news, California's economy is witnessing a clash between capitalism and worker rights.
Fast-food chains are cutting jobs as they prepare to pay a new $20 minimum wage, which takes effect next month, Emilee Coblentz reports.
Labor unions fought for higher wages. Restaurant operators are responding by axing jobs, cutting hours and freezing hiring.
Which chains are making cuts?
